"Allen’s father wanted the best for Allen and his brothers, however his mother didn’t want to leave
their home country. With conflicting courses of action Allen's father made one of the hardest decision
of his life and left Allen’s mother. They split the family up into two, Allen and his oldest brother went
with his father, while Allen’s other two brothers stayed with their mother because they were too young
to make this risky and far journey. From a small town in Mexico, Allen, his brother, and his father
started their journey to Mexico City to find the easiest way of transportation to America."... "They were only minutes away from the border however for Allen this felt like hours in the unbearable heat squeezed in a shape were a tire once was. Seconds turned into minutes and minutes into hours till 10 minutes after being squeezed into the spare tire shape the liner lifted and they were across the border breathing the fresh California air. The group was then taken to a trap house in San Diego till their parents could retrieve them. Days later Allen’s father found him and his brother and they traveled north to start a new life. "We should restructure or eliminate laws that target immigrant groups. To make immigration life easier the process of obtaining a visa should be simplified but, also require a thorough background check. This will allow the government to see what this person is all about and give the American people a sense of safety when immigrants start moving into their neighborhoods. In addition, we need to eliminate laws like Senate bill 4 in Texas. Eliminating bills like this will allow local police to interact and solve issue in immigrant communities. The result of that will allow illegal immigrants to call in issues that are affecting their communities and make it a safe and beneficial place to live. This will also eliminate the notion of immigrants being violent criminals that are here to stir up trouble and affect our way of life. This will also make it harder for criminals and drug trafficking if we create a streamlined process for people to enter legally we will not have so much illegal activity. If we use our first solution of looking at individual and not the group we should be able to eliminate the travel ban also. Most Muslim immigrants are not violent radicals trying to destroy our very way of life. (CATO) They are real people trying to get away from that kind of violence and hate. They travel vast miles just to feel safe and to become apart of a society that’s not trying to kill and destroy. These people are looking for safety and purpose, so if we look at an individual instead of a culture we can help them become apart of something good. In return they will feel a sense of purpose and work to better them self and their community around them thus, making America better. These solutions aren’t perfect by any means but they can lead to working out a problem this country has faced for a long time."

Call to Action- Through the struggles immigrants face from moving to one country to another or from a different
region to another in search of a better life and opportunities, we must give them a chance. Before we
start stereotyping someone because of the color of their skin or the religion they practice we must
understand the actual person in the body. Immigrants are just like us just from somewhere else looking
for the same opportunities we are presented with everyday. America is a country built on immigration.
A country that believed in hard work and decision to ones craft can led to higher more profitable
opportunities that can led to achieving ones goal and their ideal American Dream.
